This Halloween, come into Zheng dressed in costume, from 4pm to close, and we will hook you up with a $2 hand roll and buy 1 get 1 free entrée specials  made with the wholesome, responsibly raised ingredients you crave.  Good at both locations  on 10/31.

The Zheng Costume Contest

Official Contest Rules

PURCHASE and COSTUME NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. YOU MAY ENTER TO WIN 5 TIMES and ENCOURAGE YOUR FRIENDS TO “LIKE” US ON FACEBOOK IN ORDER TO PLACE A VOTE (once per day) STARTING Monday 10/29/2012 AND ENDING Friday 11/02/2012.

CONTEST PERIOD: Monday 10/29 – Friday 11/02 from 4pm to close at the EL JEBEL location. Including
Wedensday 31st  at the GLENWOOD Location.

PUBLIC VOTING/JUDGING:

During the Contest Period, approved entries will be posted online on the Zheng Asian Bistro facebook page. Visitors will have the opportunity to visit our facebook page during the Contest Period to vote for their favorite Entry. The 25 entries that receive the most votes during the Contest Period will be deemed Finalists. The Finalist entries will be judged by a panel of selected judges (Talented Zheng Staff) to determine one (1) Grand Prize winner, one (1) Runner Up Prize winner and (4) Runner-Runner up Prizes winners.  Judging will be conducted based on the following judging criteria: Best Depiction of Halloween (40%), Originality/Creativity (40%), and Votes Received (20%). Winners will be chosen no later than November 12, 2012. In the event of a tie, tied entries will be re-judged by the judges based solely on Best Depiction of Halloween or we will flip a coin to decide your creative fate.

RELEASE, WAIVERS, AND LIMITATIONS ON DAMAGES:

By entering the Contest, you hereby grant the Zheng Asian Bistro and each of their affiliates, subsidiaries, assigns, licensees, and legal representatives the unrestricted, absolute, perpetual, worldwide right (but not the obligation) and license to use, copy, modify, edit, create derivative works from, display, transmit, perform, distribute, publish, exhibit and otherwise use the submitted entry in any and all media or form of communication, whether now existing or hereafter developed, including on Sponsor’s websites or those websites owned by Sponsor, their affiliates or anyone acting with Sponsor’s authority, all for the purpose of operating and publicizing the Contest. Entrants waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the entries. Winners must acknowledge Zhengs  right to crop, splice, treat and edit the entries at its sole discretion and waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product, now and in the future, whether that use is known or unknown to winner. Sponsor reserves the right to discontinue the use of the Entries without notice to the winner. Entrant waives any right to inspect or approve uses of the entry or to be compensated for any such uses. Participating in the Contest constitutes permission to  Zheng Asian Bistro  and their agencies to use participants’ names, voice, likeness, age, city, state and/or image and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By participating in the Contest, you agree that Zheng Asian Bistro, Facebook, Twitter and their respective parent, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, agents, retailers, advertising and Contest agencies, and all of their respective shareholders, officers, directors, employees and assigns, members, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”), will have no liability whatsoever for, and will be held harmless by you for, any liability for any bodily injury, loss or damages of any kind to persons, including death, and property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entry creation, the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize, if applicable, or participation in this Contest or participation in any Contest related activity. You hereby waive all rights and release each of the Released Parties from any claim or cause of action, whether now known or unknown, of any kind, including but not limited to defamation, invasion of right to privacy, publicity or personality or any similar matter, relating to the Contest, the operation thereof, or any entry, or based upon or relating to the use and exploitation of the entries as contemplated herein, or use in composite form, either intentionally or otherwise. You hereby represent and warrant that you have read these Official Rules and are fully familiar with their contents. BY ENTERING THE CONTEST, YOU AGREE THAT: (1) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE CONTEST, OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED, WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; (2) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND AWARDS WILL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL THIRD-PARTY, OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED, (IF ANY), NOT TO EXCEED $100, BUT IN NO EVENT WILL ATTORNEYS’ FEES BE AWARDED OR RECOVERABLE; (3) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY PARTICIPANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD FOR, AND PARTICIPANT HEREBY KNOWINGLY AND EXPRESSLY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO SEEK, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS AND/OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES NOT TO EXCEED $100, AND/OR ANY RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED; AND (4) PARTICIPANT’S REMEDIES ARE LIMITED TO A CLAIM FOR MONEY DAMAGES (IF ANY) AND PARTICIPANT IRREVOCABLY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR EQUITABLE RELIEF. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
